Shock Due to the Nature of Al-Naimat's Injury

The Jordanian Football Association revealed details about the injury of Jordan national team player Yazn Al-Naimat during the match between Jordan and Iraq in the quarter-finals of the 2025 Arab Cup, where he left the field after suffering a knee injury that prevented him from continuing.

According to an official statement from the Jordanian Football Association, Al-Naimat is suffering from a torn anterior cruciate ligament, which is a shock to the Jordanian team and its fans for the remainder of the tournament.

The player is expected to be out for a period ranging between 6 to 9 months due to this injury.

Al-Naimat's injury comes at a time when many recent press reports talked about the interest of the Egyptian club Al Ahly in signing the player in the upcoming period to strengthen its attack.

It is worth mentioning that the Jordanian national team has qualified for the semi-finals of the Arab Cup, where it will face its Saudi counterpart in the next round.
