Friday 12-12-2025
Portuguese coach Sérgio Conceição, head of Saudi club Al-Ittihad, has moved to reassess the team's training camp program in Dubai after the league association announced the postponement of the tenth round to next February instead of its original date in December.

According to the Saudi newspaper Al-Riyadiyah, Conceição intends to finalize his decision in the coming days regarding the extension of the external training camp, taking advantage of the break imposed by the Saudi national team's qualification for the Arab Cup semifinals.

The coach intensified the team's training on Friday morning, after completing nine training sessions over six days as part of the camp that Al-Ittihad is currently holding in Dubai, UAE.

Al-Ittihad continues its preparation program by playing a friendly match against Gulf FC of the UAE on Sunday, as part of a series of tests through which the coaching staff aims to enhance the players' readiness.

The team had opened its friendly matches during the training camp with a big 6-0 victory over Palm City of the UAE, providing the coaching staff with positive indicators of improved offensive performance.

Al-Ittihad's training camp in Dubai will continue until December 14, before they head out to prepare for the match against Uzbekistan's Nasaf on December 23, as part of the AFC Champions League Elite competition.
