7 Potential Destinations for Mohamed Salah to Leave Liverpool Including the Saudi League
Speculation is mounting about the future of Egyptian international Mohamed Salah, Liverpool's star, as the winter transfer window approaches, following his absence from the starting lineup in the last two Premier League matches.
Jamie Redknapp, the former Liverpool star, predicted, according to the Mirror newspaper, that Salah might leave Anfield next January because he will not accept sitting on the bench despite having 18 months remaining on his new contract.
Redknapp added, "I wouldn't be surprised if he leaves in January or the summer, as completing the last two years of his contract won't improve the situation at all. A lot will depend on the right club and Salah's own decision."
"Mirror" pointed out that the Saudi league remains a viable option, with Al-Hilal and Salah among its interests. Additionally, Saudi club Al-Qadisiyah inquired about the player despite his previous refusal to join the Roshn League.
The newspaper also mentioned that the American league could be an option, especially with Inter Miami's success in attracting Messi, and that the San Diego club, owned by Egyptian businessman Mohamed Mansour, is the most likely choice compared to Chicago, Miami, or Los Angeles FC.
As for Europe, the Italian league could be an emotional choice for Salah to return to Fiorentina or Roma, while Turkey's Galatasaray and Barcelona remain potential destinations, similar to Barcelona's recent signing of Lewandowski.
