A group of football players, clubs, and international organizations have filed a complaint with the International Criminal Court against Gianni Infantino, President of the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA), and Aleksander Čeferin, President of the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA).

The complaint concerns the participation of football clubs from settlements established by the occupying power in the Palestinian territories occupied since 1967 in international competitions, alleging that this violates international law.

This action comes after previous calls to take measures regarding the participation of these clubs. The complaint refers to FIFA's principles concerning the hosting of matches on the territory of another association and considers the current situation to be in conflict with these principles.

This move is part of broader efforts to demand addressing issues related to sports and conflict in the region.
