The young player Maawiya Ghanem, of Algerian descent, continues to attract attention at the Newcastle United Academy, thanks to his outstanding performances this season in the English Under-15 league.

Ghanem managed to provide a hat-trick of assists in the recent match against Leeds United, demonstrating his rapid development and high technical skills in the defensive midfield position, where he excels at reading the game and creating attacks from deep.

The young player was close to transferring to Tottenham during the last summer transfer window, amid strong interest from the London club in signing him. However, the deal fell through at the last moment.

Muawiya Ghanem currently represents the England under-15 national team. His origins trace back to the Wilaya of Tiaret in Algeria, specifically the Souk El Had municipality on his father's side, while his mother's origins are from Somalia.

With his impressive performance, Ghanem is expected to be one of the most prominent rising talents in English football in the coming years.
