Cissé Talks About His Ambitions with the Libyan National Team
Senegalese coach Aliou Cissé, head of the Libyan national team, spoke about the upcoming match tomorrow against the Palestinian national team, which is a qualifier for the Arab Cup "Qatar 2025."
Cissé stated: "Our goals with the Libyan national team are always clear and straightforward. We are in the process of building a strong, competitive team, with our sights always set on the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers as a long-term objective."
He continued: "The Arab Championship is very important, and we are proud to be here. Our goal is not just to be present for three days to play the qualifiers and then leave, but our aim is to compete in the tournament itself, which in itself is an honor and a great opportunity."
He added: "The championship strengthens the project and our ultimate goal, which is to increase the number of matches the team plays. The more matches we play, the better the team improves."
He added: "We have a short-term goal, which is to participate in this tournament and achieve the best possible results, and we are always looking forward to the long-term goal, which is the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers."
