Al-Masry Al-Youm newspaper revealed the difficulty for Ahmed Rabie, the Zamalek player, to participate in the match against ZESCO of Zambia in the African Confederation Cup.
Zamalek faces its counterpart ZESCO on Sunday evening in the first round of the group stage of the African Confederation Cup.
Ahmed Rabie had suffered a groin muscle injury during his time with the Egypt national team camp participating in the Arab Cup recently.
The newspaper stated that Ahmed Rabie continued his rehabilitation training during Friday's training session held at the Military Academy Stadium.
It added that Zamalek's medical staff is working to prepare Ahmed Rabie to participate in group training sessions in the coming period.
