Algerian international Riyad Mahrez, star of Al-Ahli Saudi, has entered the competition for the Best Player in the Middle East for 2025 award, following the announcement today Wednesday by the organizers of the “Globe Soccer” awards of the list of nominees.
The list included Mahrez's name alongside a group of the most prominent football stars in the region, headed by the Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo, star of Al-Nassr Saudi, and the French Karim Benzema , player of Al-Ittihad Jeddah, in addition to the Brazilian Roberto Firmino, star of Al-Sadd Qatar, along with four other nominees.
