Sports critic Khaled Talaat praised the brilliance of Egypt's national team goalkeeper Mostafa Shobeir in the penalty shootout against Cape Verde in the friendly match held on Monday evening.
Khaled Talaat said on Facebook: 'A genius change by Colonel Hossam Hassan, bringing in Mostafa Shobeir instead of Mohamed El-Shenawy for the penalty shootout.'
He continued: 'An extraordinary performance by Mostafa Shobeir, keeping a clean sheet in all four penalty kicks with none of them finding the net.'
The regular time of the match between Egypt and Cape Verde ended in a 1-1 draw, and the Pharaohs won the match in the penalty shootout with a score of 2-0.
