Hausen Returns to Real Madrid Due to Injury
The Spanish Football Federation announced the exclusion of defender Dean Hausen from the Spanish national team list for the last match in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Turkey, tomorrow, Tuesday.
This decision was made due to his suffering from muscle pain that also prevented him from participating against Georgia in the fifth round of the European qualifiers for the World Cup, which ended with La Roja's victory 4-0 last Saturday.
The federation explained that Real Madrid was fully aware of his condition from the beginning, and the decision was made as usual to preserve the player's health and safety, as it was decided to grant him permission to leave the camp and not risk him at this stage.
The player is expected to undergo further medical examinations upon his return to Madrid to determine the exact nature of his injury and the duration of his absence from the royal team.
