Minor Injury Delays Coman's Return to Al-Nassr Training
The medical staff of Al-Nassr Club in Saudi Arabia has postponed the return of French winger Kingsley Coman to team training after he experienced mild pain in his muscle during the current rehabilitation period.
The Saudi newspaper "Al-Riyadiyah" reported that the medical staff preferred to extend the player's treatment program until next Friday, to ensure his full recovery before the resumption of the Roshen Saudi League competitions.
On Wednesday morning, Koeman arrived at the club's clinic to undergo thorough examinations after experiencing renewed pain. The medical staff decided to postpone his return to team training to avoid any further setbacks.
Sources indicated that Koeman will continue to follow his individual rehabilitation program at the club's facilities, and if the pain persists, the treatment period will be extended before he is allowed to participate in training with his teammates.
Koeman had suffered an injury during Al-Nassr's trip to India to face the Goa team in the Asian championship. He then participated in matches against Ittihad, Al-Hazm, and Al-Fayha, before experiencing a muscle strain during the recent match against Neom in the league.
Reports confirmed that the medical staff refused to grant the player any leave during the international break, preferring to utilize the time for intensive treatment so that he can be ready as soon as possible.
The Al Nassr team is preparing to face Al Khaleej on Sunday, November 23, as part of the ninth round of the Saudi Roshan League. They enter the match as the leaders of the standings with 24 points, having achieved a perfect score in the first eight rounds.
