The management of Al-Shabab Club has clarified the reasons behind the decision issued by the International Football Federation (FIFA) regarding the club's ban on registering new players, confirming that the issue is related to financial dues owed to the Ukrainian club Dynamo Kyiv.

The administration reported that the outstanding amount is $500,000, which represents part of the transfer fee for Ukrainian goalkeeper Georgiy Bushchan to the team. It clarified that this amount was supposed to be paid immediately after signing the contract, according to the agreement made between the two parties.

The Youth Administration confirmed that it began taking the necessary financial measures to urgently pay the amount as soon as the decision was issued, noting that the lifting of the ban will occur automatically after the dues are officially transferred to the Ukrainian club.

The statement added that the administration is working to resolve all the lawsuits filed against the club sequentially, by coordinating with the relevant authorities and adhering to the approved regulations and procedures, to ensure that such penalties do not occur again in the future.

The Youth Administration clarified that this decision is limited to the specific case of Bouchan's transfer only and does not include any other disputes. They emphasized that the club will remain committed to fulfilling its financial obligations towards players and clubs in order to maintain its professional reputation.

It is worth mentioning that FIFA had issued a decision to prevent the clubs Al-Shabab and Al-Riyadh from registering players due to ongoing financial issues. Al-Shabab immediately announced its position and began the process of addressing the matter, while Al-Riyadh has not yet issued any official clarification.
