First Decision by Zamalek Coach After Super Cup Loss
The Egyptian newspaper "Al-Ahram" reported that Ahmed Abdel-Raouf, the coach of Zamalek, decided to give the team players a three-day break from group training, with the team set to resume training next Friday.
The newspaper added that the Zamalek delegation returned from the UAE this evening after participating in the Egyptian Super Cup.
Zamalek lost to Al Ahly with a score of 2-0 in the final match of the Egyptian Super Cup, allowing Al Ahly to win the title for the 16th time in its history.
Zamalek will face their Zambian counterpart Zesco on Sunday, November 23, in the first round of the group stage of the African Confederation Cup.
The newspaper added that the Zamalek delegation returned from the UAE this evening after participating in the Egyptian Super Cup.
