Galtier: Al-Nassr is the Best in the Saudi League and We Must Prepare Well
Thursday 06-11-2025
Christophe Galtier, the head coach of Al-Nassr, confirmed that the team is exceptional and the best in the Saudi league this season with 7 victories, boasting the strongest offense and defense.

Galtier said during the press conference: "In yesterday's match, Al-Nassr faced the Indian team Goa, and their coach Jorge Jesus fielded players who are not regular starters, so they are prepared to face us."

The coach of Al-Nassr added: "The strength of Al-Nassr currently reminds me of when I was preparing for a match against Paris Saint-Germain while I was coaching in the French league."

He added: "We are very happy to play against Al-Nassr, and if we want to achieve a positive result, we need to have a strong character. We must defend well and ensure that our players are close to each other, and they need to deliver a match with high running rates."

He continued: "We must play for enjoyment and with high focus to reach their goal, and Al-Nasr is currently the best team. I try to envision the match, and I hope the players do the same. What I don't like is for us to play timidly and rely solely on defense."

He continued: "Al-Nassr plays with a high pressing style, which reduces the space available for opponents. We have studied Al-Nassr well, and we are trying to achieve a positive result. In the match against Al-Fayha, Al-Fayha had some dangerous attacks due to the high defensive line employed by Jesus."

He concluded: "The match is important for me and all the players, and I enjoy playing in such matches. In my home country, France, people are eager to see this match, and I believe it will attract a large audience."
