The assistant coach of Al-Zawraa team, Hossam Fawzi, expressed his happiness with the important victory that the team achieved against Tajikistan's Istiklol Dushanbe with a score of 2-1, in the fourth round of the AFC Champions League 2, confirming that these victories give the team a significant morale boost for the upcoming matches.

He added that the match was against an organized and fast team, praising the players' commitment to defend collectively and achieve victory. The players were keen to win and defend well as a group, and the victory is considered good against a good team.

He pointed out that the challenges faced by the team include repeated travel which has affected the players' readiness, the limited time available to correct some mistakes, and the frequent travel recently has clearly impacted the team, and we did not have enough time to correct mistakes due to the lack of training sessions.
