The Spanish newspaper 'Sport' reported that FC Barcelona is closely monitoring young French striker Lasini Megan Bafit, a 15-year-old player from Montpellier, who is considered one of the rising talents in French football, amid interest from English club Arsenal.

The newspaper explained that the player caught attention last season after scoring 15 goals and providing 12 assists in 24 matches with the French U17 national team, and he has been promoted this year to play with the U19 team despite being three years younger than his teammates.

Megan is the captain of the French U16 national team and boasts a strong physical build (1.87 meters tall and weighing 77 kg), making him a target for several top European clubs, including Barcelona and Arsenal.

According to the French newspaper 'L'Équipe', Montpellier is seeking to secure its talented player by offering him a professional contract for three years once he turns sixteen, while allowing him to participate in first-team training under the guidance of Zoumana Kamara.

The player confirmed in statements reported by 'Sport' his loyalty to his club, saying: 'Montpellier is my team, I have been following their matches at the Stade de la Mosson since my childhood, my dream is to play in this stadium and in the Champions League wearing the club's jersey.'

The young French striker is considered one of the most prominent talents of the 2010 generation, and many expect a promising future for him in European football.
