Tunisian Referee Crew to Lead the Return Match Between RS Berkane and Al-Ahli Tripoli
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has assigned a Tunisian referee crew, led by referee Naeem Hosni, to manage the return match between Moroccan RS Berkane and Libyan Al-Ahli Tripoli, as part of the second preliminary round of the African Champions League.
Hosni will be assisted in this match by Ayman Ismail and Wael Hanaishi, while the fourth official duties have been assigned to Amir Youssef.
The first leg match, which took place in the Libyan capital Tripoli, ended in a positive draw (1-1) and was officiated by an Egyptian referee crew led by Amin Omar, which sparked some controversy in football circles, considering that the coach of Al-Ahli Tripoli is the Egyptian Hossam El Badry.
The return match will be held on Friday, November 1, at the municipal stadium in Berkane, starting at 6 PM Moroccan time, in a decisive encounter that will determine the team qualifying for the group stage of the continental competition.
