Esperance Tunis Qualifies for the Group Stage of the African Champions League

Esperance Sportive de Tunis has qualified for the group stage of the African Champions League after a well-deserved victory today, Sunday, against their guest, Rahimo FC from Burkina Faso, with a score of three goals to nil, in the match held at the Hamadi Akhari Stadium in Rades as part of the second preliminary round return leg.

The goals for the "Bab Souika" team came from Hamza Jlasi in the 33rd minute, the Frenchman Florian Danho in the 52nd minute, before Ashraf Jabri capped the trio in the 72nd minute, confirming Esperance's superiority in both legs after winning the first leg in Burkina Faso with a score of one goal to nil.

With this qualification, Esperance Sportive will be the sole representative of Tunisian football in the group stage of the African Champions League, following the exit of US Monastir against Kabylie from Algeria, losing in the first leg (0-3) in Sfax and in the return leg (1-2) in Algeria.

The draw for the group stage is expected to take place on November 3 in Johannesburg, South Africa, to determine the features of the upcoming continental competition.
