Al-Akhdoood Regains Trio of Injured Players Before Facing Al-Qadisiyah
Friday 14-11-2025
The medical staff of the Saudi Al-Akhdoood team announced the readiness of the trio Naif Asiri, Muhannad Al-Qaydi, and Hussein Al-Zubdani to return to participate against Al-Qadisiyah in the sixth round of the Roshan Saudi League, after their complete recovery from injuries.

A special source confirmed to the sports newspaper "Al-Riyadiyah" that the three players participated normally in collective training after completing their rehabilitation programs inside the club's clinic, allowing the coaching staff led by Portuguese Paulo Sergio to get the green light to utilize them.

The trio missed the previous match against Al-Hazm, which Al-Akhdoood lost 1-2, due to various injuries that deprived the team of their services during a difficult period marked by declining results.

Coach Paulo Sergio understands the importance of having his key players back at this time, as he aims to stop the consecutive losing streak and achieve the first victory for the southern team since the start of the new season of the Roshan League.

Al-Akhdoood has suffered five consecutive losses against Al-Ittihad (2-5), Al-Taawun (2-3), Neom (0-1), Al-Hilal (1-3), and finally Al-Hazm (1-2), putting them in a difficult early position in the standings.

Currently, Al-Akhdoood occupies the second-to-last position in the league with no points, having scored six goals and conceded 14 goals by the end of the fifth round, while the team hopes that the match against Al-Qadisiyah will be a turning point to restore balance and confidence.
