The Moroccan national team has received a strong new boost, after the player Anas Salah El-Din officially became eligible to wear the jersey of the Moroccan national team, following the approval of the International Football Federation (FIFA) on his request to change his sports nationality from Dutch to Moroccan, as confirmed by Dutch media reports.

This decision is the result of continuous efforts by the national coach Walid Rekraki and the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, as part of a systematic strategy to attract Moroccan professional talents abroad, especially in positions that need reinforcement, primarily the left-back position.

This new eligibility provides Rekraki with additional options in his project aimed at building a Moroccan team capable of competing at the continental and global levels, amidst fierce competition among various names for different positions within the "Atlas Lions".

Anas Salah El-Din, who is 23 years old, was born in the Netherlands and graduated from the prestigious Ajax Amsterdam Academy, before moving to FC Twente, where he showcased impressive performances that caught the attention of scouts from Italian club Roma, which officially signed him before loaning him this season to Eindhoven in search of more playing minutes.

The player is known for his tactical versatility and ability to play in multiple positions, whether on the left or right flank, and even in midfield, making him a valuable addition to Rekraki's system, especially in matches that are decided by fine details.
