Media figure Khaled Al-Ghandour praised the Pyramids team after they won the African Super Cup by defeating Nahdet Berkane with a clean goal.

Al-Ghandour stated in his remarks during the "Stadium of the Axis" program: "The African Champions League regains its prestige with Pyramids after they achieved everything following their victory in the African Super Cup today. Pyramids is the uncontested leader of the African continent, and no one gives them their due, maybe because they don't have a fan base."

He added: "Pyramids defeated Al-Ahli Jeddah with its stars by three goals in Saudi Arabia and amid its fans, and they also beat Nahdet Berkane in the African Super Cup, and this is not an easy team. They also won against Al-Ahli in the Egyptian league, even though no one supports them."

Al-Ghandour concluded: "Pyramids represents Egypt and is the uncontested leader of the African continent. Congratulations to Mamdouh Eid, the club president, Hani Said, the sports director, Mohamed Nagy Gedo, the assistant coach, and all the players."
