Aït Nouri Approaches Return to the Field After Recovery from Injury
Sunday 19-10-2025
It seems that Algerian international Ryan Aït Nouri is on the verge of returning to competitive action after a long absence due to an injury he sustained at the end of August.

Manchester City coach, Spanish Pep Guardiola, revealed updates on the player's condition, stating in his remarks to the media before his team's match against Everton: 'Aït Nouri trained with us yesterday, and he is in better shape now. I think he is close to returning.'

Despite the promising start for the Algerian player with the 'Citizens', recurring injuries have prevented him from appearing regularly, affecting his chances of establishing himself in the starting lineup and costing the team one of its standout stars on the left flank.

This positive development has brought relief within the technical staff of the Algerian national team, especially with the countdown to the Africa Cup of Nations 2025 in Morocco.

Coach Vladimir Petkovic hopes that Aït Nouri will regain his full fitness and his usual level, to become one of the key pillars in the 'Greens' squad, thanks to his speed, skill, and ability to make a difference on the left side.
