The Algerian international star Hossam Aouar missed the match that brought his team Al-Ittihad against Al-Faiha, as part of the Roshan Saudi Pro League competitions.

Despite Aouar's recent return to team training after recovering from injury, Portuguese coach Sergio Conceicao decided to exclude him from the match list, preferring to give him more time to fully regain his fitness before making an official return to competitions.

The encounter between Al-Ittihad and Al-Faiha ended in a positive draw (1-1), in a match that saw balanced performances from both sides.

Hossam Aouar is expected to return to Al-Ittihad's squad during the next match, after the medical staff confirmed his complete readiness and full recovery from the injury he sustained before the international break in October.
