Yaeslah Defends His Tactics After Al-Ahli's Draw with Al-Shabab
German coach Matthias Yaeslah of Al-Ahli Saudi defended his tactical choices after his team's draw against Al-Shabab in the league.
Al-Ahli drew with Al-Shabab 1-1 in a match held on Friday evening during the fifth round of the Roshan Saudi League.
Yaeslah said in the press conference after the match: "We played a difficult match as expected, it was full of many tackles, and we did not reach the required level, we should have created more danger."
He continued: "In the end, this is football; if you do not score and finish the match, you will definitely concede. In the 78th minute, a player from Al-Shabab reached the goal with danger, and he had enough of my players in front of him, but the coverage was not good, and we will work on that."
When asked about continuing to play Frenchman Enzo Milot in the number 10 position, he said: "We are keen to find the best 11 players on the field, and everything is related to the result; if the result were different, the discussion would be different."
