The Saudi Football Federation officially announced the names of the referees for the fifth round matches of the Roshen League for the 2025-2026 season, which will kick off this evening amidst great public anticipation and fierce competition for the top spot.

The list of referees features a mix of local and international names, with referee Majed Al-Shamrani assigned to officiate the match between Al-Ittihad and Al-Faiha, which will take place at the Al-Majma'ah Sports City Stadium, assisted by Hisham Al-Rifai and Faisal Al-Balawi, while Mohammed Wazi will serve as the fourth official.

Mohammed Al-Buraidi will take on the role of Video Assistant Referee (VAR) for the same match, assisted by international star Faisal Al-Balawi as the Assistant Video Assistant Referee (AVAR), while the officiating teams for the other matches have been carefully assigned to ensure the smooth running of the games.

As for the match between Al-Khulood and Al-Najma, which will be held at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Buraidah, it will be officiated by Shukri Al-Hanfoosh as the main referee, assisted by Eissa Al-Khaibari and Nawaf Saqaf, while Abdesamad Bakri will manage the video technology.

In the highlight match of the round, which brings together Al-Ahli and Al-Shabab at the Al-Naema Stadium in King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah, an Argentine officiating crew led by Nicolas Ramirez has been appointed, assisted by Sebastian Ranieri and Mariana de Almeida, while Pablo Acevedo will manage the video technology.

The Saudi Football Federation confirmed its commitment to selecting a distinguished group of local and foreign referees to ensure the highest standards of officiating fairness in the tournament, especially in light of the intense competition among clubs for the top positions in the standings.
