Juventus received a strong boost ahead of their upcoming match against Como, with midfielder Fabio Miretti returning to training after a long absence due to injury, according to the 'Football Italy' website.

Miretti, who spent the 2024/2025 season on loan at Genoa, suffered a muscle injury during an internal friendly match against the Next Gen team last August, which kept him sidelined for the first two months of the current season.

The Italian player also missed the last six matches of the previous season due to a shoulder injury, bringing his absence from official matches to over six continuous months.

The report stated that the 22-year-old Miretti has returned to group training and is expected to be ready to return to the team’s lineup during the Juventus match against Como after the international break.

The decision still rests with coach Igor Tudor regarding whether to include the player, either in the starting lineup or as a substitute during the anticipated match.

It is worth noting that Fabio Miretti's last appearance in a Juventus shirt was on May 25, 2024, during the team's 2-0 victory in the final round of the 2023/2024 season.
