Reports have revealed that the chances of Brazilian defender Roger Ibanez of Al-Ahli participating in the upcoming match against Al-Shabab, scheduled for next Friday as part of the fifth round of the league, are diminishing.

According to the reports, doubts surround Ibanez's participation in the match against Al-Shabab next Friday at the Al-Inma Stadium in Jeddah.

The sources added that the medical staff at Al-Ahli has intensified the player's rehabilitation program over the past few days regarding his ankle injury, in order to prepare him for the match.

The sources clarified that Ibanez's chances of playing against Al-Shabab remain unclear, as the player will undergo a medical examination at the club's clinic 48 hours before the match.

Ibanez sustained an ankle injury during group training with Al-Ahli during the current international break.
