Copper: Ribeiro refused to involve Abdelkader in training
Imad Al-Nahhas, the former interim coach of Al-Ahly, revealed that coach Jose Ribeiro refused to include Ahmed Abdelkader in the team's group training.
Al-Nahhas said on the program "Football with Faiq" on MBC Masr 2 channel: "Ribeiro refused to include Ahmed Abdelkader in the group training," confirming: "Ribeiro refused to involve the player in training for technical reasons."
He added: "There is no mistake in diagnosing the injuries of Mohamed Shokri and Karim Fouad, the team's players."
He continued: "Moroccan Ashraf Dari is an exceptional player and has shown a good level in the matches he participated in, but the injury issues need to be resolved because he is a professional player and a member of the Moroccan national team."
