The Italian club Juventus disclosed in a statement on its website the condition of Brazilian center-back Gleison Bremer.
The statement read: "Gleison Bremer underwent a medical consultation this morning in Lyon with Dr. Soneri-Couté, who diagnosed him with a tear in the medial meniscus cartilage in his left knee."
It added: "The player will undergo selective arthroscopic meniscus removal surgery in the coming hours."
It is noteworthy that Bremer is one of the key players in Juventus's lineup, having participated in 5 matches with the team this season.
