Raikovic Excluded from Serbia Squad Due to Injury
The Serbian national team announced the exclusion of goalkeeper Predrag Rajkovic, who guards the net for Al-Ittihad Club, from the current camp and his return to Jeddah due to injury.
The Serbian team stated in an official statement today, Sunday, that Rajkovic is out of the squad that will face Andorra in the European qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup, scheduled for next Tuesday.
The Serbian team indicated in its statement that Rajkovic is suffering from pain in his right thigh, which is the same injury that he underwent surgery for four months ago.
For his part, physiotherapist Thamer Al-Shahrani commented on Rajkovic's shocking injury in the same thigh area via his account on “X.”
He said: “This is very bad news for Al-Ittihad Club, and a stance must be taken regarding such pains, which began to appear about four months ago, and there should be no risk in the upcoming period.”
