The management of the Saudi youth club confirmed its continued trust in the Spanish coach, Emmanuel Alguacil, despite the setbacks the team faced during the early rounds of the Roshan Professional League in the current season 2025-2026.

The sports newspaper "Al-Riyadiyah" stated that the club's management held an extended meeting with the Spanish coach, during which they discussed the reasons for the decline in results and performance levels in the past period, in an attempt to identify the flaws and put appropriate solutions.

Sources indicated that the management decided to renew its trust in Alguacil, after both parties agreed that the poor results do not reflect the level of technical work, but rather stem from the lack of harmony among the new players, in addition to injuries that affected the completeness of the squad.

The youth management emphasized that the coach needs more time to impose his tactical ideas and build a stable artistic identity for the team, asserting that positive results will come gradually with improved physical readiness and harmony among the new elements.

The club had contracted with Alguacil on a deal that extends until the summer of 2027, as part of a plan aimed at developing technical performance and building a long-term project that returns youth to compete for local and continental championships.

The youth team currently occupies the twelfth place in the Saudi league standings with 4 points from 4 matches, while successfully reaching the Round of 16 of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup after overcoming Abha on penalties, and recently drew with Oman's Al-Nahda in the Arab Gulf Clubs Cup.
