Jorge Jesus Praises Ronaldo's Level
Jorge Jesus, the coach of Saudi Al Nassr, praised the performance of the team's star Cristiano Ronaldo, confirming that coaching the global team is the toughest experience in his coaching career.
Jesus said in statements reported by the Saudi sports newspaper: "I received an offer to coach Al Nassr through Jose Semedo, the executive director, and Cristiano Ronaldo, and this is the hardest experience in my career."
He continued: "Since Ronaldo joined Al Nassr, the team has not won a championship; they have not achieved the league title for seven or eight seasons."
He added: "Also, the quality of the three competing teams and their players is higher than that of Al Nassr. I accepted the task to be a champion; my priority is to win titles, not just matches."
Regarding his impression of working with Ronaldo, he said: "As a player, I have heard a lot about him, but we do not really know people until we interact with them. Today, at 40 years old, he is the second fastest player in the team and the third player to record runs exceeding 25 kilometers per hour. This is miraculous even from a physical standpoint."
He added: "On a personal level, he is extremely intelligent and more than just a football player."
