Luca Zidane Expresses Pride in Joining the Algerian National Team
The goalkeeper Luca Zidane expressed his great happiness at joining the Algerian national team, in his first statement to the official page of the Algerian Football Federation.
The Granada goalkeeper and son of the legend Zinedine Zidane said: "Since I arrived in Algeria after receiving my first call-up to the national team, I have felt a great pride. I hope to win my first match with the Greens and qualify for the World Cup. The match is very important, and I hope that the Algerian fans will be happy."
The "Union" published a video welcoming the new addition to the Desert Warriors squad, commenting: "Welcome Luca Zidane with the Greens.. The first training camp and the first step in a great journey."
Luca Zidane also met coach Vladimir Petkovic for the first time at the technical center in Sidi Moussa, where they had a special conversation about the upcoming stage, which marks the beginning of a new journey for the promising goalkeeper with the Algerian colors.
