Spanish Club Interested in Ibanez from Al Ahli
Sources have revealed that a club in the Spanish league is seeking to sign Brazilian defender Roger Ibanez from Al Ahli Saudi during the winter transfer window next January.
According to Italian journalist Rudy Galetti, who specializes in transfer news, Valencia has placed Roger Ibanez at the top of its defensive target list for the winter period.
The sources indicated that Ron Gorlai, the CEO of Valencia, knows the player well from his time at Al Ahli Saudi and will attempt to complete the deal either in January or wait until next summer.
It is worth noting that the 26-year-old Ibanez joined Al Ahli Saudi in the summer of 2023 from Italian club Roma, and his current contract extends until June 2027.
