Al Hilal Refuses Nunez's Inclusion in National Team Camp
The Uruguayan site "montevideo" reported that the Saudi club Al Hilal confirmed the necessity of not including Nunez in the upcoming camp of the Uruguayan national team due to his knee injury and the need to continue his rehabilitation program.
The Uruguayan national team will play two friendly matches against the Dominican Republic and Uzbekistan on October 10 and 13 of this month.
Coach Simone Inzaghi of Al Hilal stated in the press conference after the match against Nasaf in the AFC Champions League, which Al Hilal won 3-2: "Nunez is experiencing some discomfort in his knee, and we prefer that he continues his rehabilitation program."
Inzaghi added: "We hope that Nunez returns stronger after the international break."
