Zakho team achieved a valuable victory over Al-Qadsia Kuwait with a score of (3-1) in the match that brought them together this evening in the first round of the group stage of the Arab Gulf Champions League for clubs, which was held at Dohuk Stadium.

Al-Qadsia opened the scoring early in the eighth minute with a penalty successfully executed by Libyan player Mohamed Soula, before Zakho quickly responded and leveled the score in the 15th minute through their foreign player Dabiati.

In stoppage time of the first half, the Khabor team managed to add the second goal through Sherko Karim in the (45+6) minute, ending the first half with the Iraqi team in the lead.

At the beginning of the second half, Zakho continued to dominate, as Sherko Karim managed once again to enhance the score with the third goal in the 47th minute, confirming his team's superiority and securing the three points.

With this victory, Zakho has positioned itself early in the competition for the top of the group, achieving an ideal start to its Gulf journey.
