Zakho Club will begin its journey in the Arab Gulf Clubs Champions League on Tuesday when it faces its counterpart Al-Qadsia from Kuwait at the Duhok Stadium at 8:30 PM Baghdad time, in the first round of Group A.

The draw placed Zakho in Group A alongside Al Ain from the UAE, Sitra from Bahrain, and Al-Qadsia from Kuwait, while Group B includes Al Rayyan from Qatar, Al Shabab from Saudi Arabia, Al Nahda from Oman, and Tadamun Hadramout from Yemen.

The refereeing committee entrusted the management of the match to an Omani officiating team led by referee Yahya Al-Balushi, while Mustafa Al-Hosni was appointed as the match observer.

Zakho seeks to take advantage of the home ground and crowd to achieve a strong start in the tournament, especially since the points from the first round could provide a significant morale boost for the team in its continental journey, while Al-Qadsia from Kuwait looks to return with a positive result from Duhok to gain an advantage in the group.
