Al-Nasr Anticipates Saad Al-Nasser's Return to Team Participation
Tuesday 30-09-2025
Saad Al-Nasser, the left-back of Al-Nasr, is undergoing a final medical examination within two weeks to determine the possibility of his return to group training or the continuation of his rehabilitation program, after suffering a ligament tear in his ankle joint against Istiklol Tajik in the opening match of the team's AFC Champions League 2 campaign.

Al-Nasser continues his treatment program at the club's clinic under the supervision of the Portuguese Carlos Miguel, the team's doctor, alongside his teammates Sami Al-Najai and Abdul Malik Al-Jaber, who are also undergoing special rehabilitation programs.

Al-Najai, returning from an anterior cruciate ligament injury, has started an intensive fitness phase in preparation for his return to the field, while Al-Jaber continues his treatment program after knee cartilage surgery.

In a related context, Al-Nasr's delegation has arrived in Baghdad in preparation for facing Al-Zawraa in the second round of the AFC Champions League 2, where the Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus is leading the final preparations amid the absence of captain Cristiano Ronaldo, who has been given a rest.
