Rudi Fuller, the manager of the German national team, spoke about the decision of young player Can Ozun, the star of Eintracht Frankfurt, to play for the Turkish national team instead of Germany.

This statement from Fuller comes after the player's fantastic start to the season, where he scored 6 goals and provided 4 assists in the 7 matches he has played since the beginning of the season.

German fans expressed their regret that the player chose to represent his native Turkey long ago, instead of Germany, the country where he was born.

Fuller said about the 19-year-old Ozun: "We tried our best; there was great communication with his father and agent, and Ozun was indeed hesitant. But in the end, he decided to represent Turkey, and we have to respect that."

He added: "When we see what Ozun is doing now, I feel some sadness. This is exactly what we hoped for from him. He is an amazing football player."
