Inzaghi: We Still Have Time to Improve and Develop
Italian coach Simone Inzaghi of Al-Hilal confirmed that his team played a good match against Uzbekistan's Nasaf Qarshi.
Inzaghi said during the press conference after the match: "We did not succeed in capitalizing on many of the opportunities we had to score and we should have finished them earlier, but I am happy with the players' performance and achieving a positive result."
He added: "Nasaf is a good team with a tactically outstanding coach, they played well today and against Al-Ahli Jeddah, and I expect them to be a tough team for opponents in upcoming matches as well."
He continued: "This match is the sixth in a row in a short period; it is true that we conceded two goals, but we should have capitalized on the opportunities, and we had the chance to decide the match with a larger scoreline."
He concluded: "We still have time to improve and develop, and we will work on this in the coming period until we reach the performance that satisfies us."
When asked about the player he noticed from Nasaf: "Player number 6 and the goalkeeper in Nasaf caught my attention since their match in Jeddah against Al-Ahli."
He finished his statements: "We tried to adapt to the condition of the pitch, and we requested to water it before the match, and we must adapt to all the circumstances we face."
