The management of Al-Shabab Club has closed the file on the overdue salaries of the first-team football players after transferring the full dues for three complete months over the past two days, which included players and the coaching staff.

This step came after a period of delay in fulfilling financial obligations, which raised questions among fans and observers about the club's ability to manage its financial situation.

In parallel, the management held an extended meeting with Spanish coach Imanol Alguacil to discuss the decline in results since the beginning of the Roshen Saudi League competitions.

During the meeting, the team's situation was discussed after collecting only four points out of 12, where the management expressed its understanding of the circumstances, confirming that the absence of several key players directly affected Al-Shabab's performance.

Despite calls for a change in the coaching staff, the capital management renewed its confidence in Alguacil, considering that the current phase requires patience and support, especially since the coach took over at the beginning of the season with a contract extending for two years after leaving Real Sociedad.
