The Saudi Union Club announced today, Sunday, the mutual termination of its contractual relationship with the head coach of the first football team, Laurent Blanc, and his assistant staff.

The Saudi club expressed its gratitude and appreciation to the coach and his staff for their contributions during the past period, wishing them success in their future endeavors.

The club's management also decided to appoint Hassan Khalifa to temporarily lead the first team technically, alongside a young Saudi coaching staff led by Karsko, the under-21 team coach, until a new coaching staff is contracted that aligns with the club's ambitions and achieves the goals and aspirations of its loyal fans.

This decision comes hours after the Union's loss to Al-Nassr 2-0 in the Saudi league yesterday.
