Martinez: Ronaldo is One of the Reasons for My Joining Al-Nassr
Spanish defender Inigo Martinez of Al-Nassr confirmed that the presence of Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo was one of the reasons for his joining the club.
Martinez stated in remarks to the Spanish newspaper 'Marca' on Saturday that as soon as he received the offer from Al-Nassr, he remembered Ronaldo, describing him as 'a competitive player who knows nothing but winning,' affirming: 'One of the reasons I accepted the offer was to play alongside him.'
He added that Al-Nassr's desire to win titles after a period of absence was an additional motivation for joining the club.
Martinez had joined Al-Nassr from Barcelona last summer.
