Diyala's team continues its series of impressive results this season after securing its third consecutive victory in the Iraqi Stars League, defeating its guest Zakho with a score of (2-1) in the match held this evening as part of the third round.

The start of the match was perfect for the home team, as striker Waka Ramadan managed to open the scoring early in the first minute, putting his team ahead quickly.

Zakho's struggles increased after their Yemeni striker Nasser Mahmoud was sent off with a direct red card in the sixth minute, leaving the team to complete the match with ten players.

In the second half, Diyala continued its attacking pressure, and Waka Ramadan succeeded again in scoring the second goal in the 63rd minute, further enhancing his team's lead and giving them a clear advantage.

However, Zakho did not give up, and player Mohammed Ali managed to reduce the deficit in the 66th minute, bringing excitement back to the match until the final whistle.

With this victory, Diyala raised its points tally to 9 points from three consecutive wins, continuing to sit at the top of the table with a perfect score, while Zakho's points remained at three after three rounds.
