Blanc: I Know Al-Nassr Well and There Will Be No Surprises Between the Two Teams
Laurent Blanc, the coach of Al-Ittihad, confirmed that he knows Al-Nassr well and there will be no surprises in the match between his team and the global team.
Al-Ittihad will face Al-Nassr tomorrow, Friday, in the fourth round of the Saudi Professional League.
Blanc said during the pre-match press conference: "I am sure we know Al-Nassr well, and the opposite is true, and we will get to know each other more in the future, as we will face them in the King’s Cup.. There will be no surprises between the two teams, as we know them well."
He added: "Today's training session is important because the group will be fully present, and Karim Benzema will be with the team in the final training session."
Regarding the delay in Al-Ittihad's goals until the last minutes, especially in the match against Al-Najma, Blanc said: "Because we believe in our chances until the last second, and we have the quality that helps with that.. This is an advantage, why consider it a negative? I see it as an advantage for us."
Concerning the injured players, Blanc said: "The coach's role is to find solutions, and I am the one who decides, and I will determine who will be present, and the group that will start will be the best.. We know the value of Al-Nassr's attacking line, and our mission is to find the best competitive team.. We started the season with an average performance, and we are working on recovering the injured players.
