Former coach Jamal Belmadi spoke for the first time about his departure from the Algerian national team after more than a year and a half since leaving, confirming that he has regained his enthusiasm and desire to take on new challenges.

Belmadi said in media statements: "I have a lot of motivation and energy after leaving the Algerian national team, as the long period of rest gave me the opportunity to regain my focus and return with greater enthusiasm."

The Algerian coach added that he has returned to Al-Duhail, the only club he has coached in his career, pointing to the magnitude of the challenge that awaits him: "This team has not won any titles in the last two years and did not qualify for the Champions League, my mission is to restore the team's prestige."

Belmadi concluded his remarks with an emotional message to the Algerian fans, saying: "I thank the supporters for their continuous support, and I will always be a fan of the Algerian national team for life."
