Moroccan Yassine Bono, the goalkeeper for Al-Hilal Saudi Club, celebrated his fifth place in the Yashin Award for the best goalkeeper in the world for 2025, affirming that this achievement represents a point of pride in his career.

Bono ranked fifth behind Italian Gianluigi Donnarumma, Brazilian Alisson Becker, Swiss Yann Sommer, and Belgian Thibaut Courtois, according to the final list announced by 'France Football'.

The international goalkeeper stated, through Al-Hilal's media center, that reaching this position would not have been possible without the support of his teammates and the efforts of the club, noting that Al-Hilal's participation in the FIFA Club World Cup was a pivotal moment that made him one of the top contenders.

Bono added that this achievement represents a special moment that he will cherish for a long time, expressing his gratitude to his teammates and everyone who supported him during the past period, confirming that teamwork was the key.

In terms of statistics, Bono delivered impressive performances in the recent Club World Cup, leading Al-Hilal to the quarter-finals after five matches, during which he conceded six goals and kept a clean sheet in two matches.
