Al-Hilal Secures Qualification with a Tough Win Over Al-Adalah in the King’s Cup

Al-Hilal achieved a valuable victory over their host Al-Adalah with a score of one goal to none, in the match held on Monday evening as part of the Round of 32 of the King Abdulaziz Cup, allowing the leader to continue their journey in the tournament.

Al-Hilal scored the only goal of the match in the 46th minute through striker Abdullah Al-Hamdan, benefiting from a precise pass from his teammate Mohammed Kanno, translating his team's offensive dominance into a deserved lead at the start of the second half.

Despite Al-Adalah's attempts to equalize through the coach's substitutions and the introduction of offensive players like Riad Al-Braheem and Mohammed Al-Mari, Al-Hilal's defense, led by Hassan Tambakti and Theo Hernandez, successfully halted all attempts.

Al-Hilal's coach Inzaghi also made several changes to enhance offensive effectiveness, bringing in Salem Al-Dosari and Abdullah Radeef, in addition to involving Kayo Cesar and Lucas Kunya at crucial moments of the match.

The match saw a clear advantage for Al-Hilal in terms of possession, with 78% compared to 22% for Al-Adalah. The Blues attempted 24 shots, including dangerous attempts, while the hosts managed only two attempts on goal.

With this victory, Al-Hilal snatched the ticket to the Round of 16, confirming their desire to compete strongly for the title, while Al-Adalah exited the tournament after a brave performance against one of the strongest Saudi teams.
