The Union Club achieved a precious victory over Al-Najma with a score of one goal to none, in the match that brought the two teams together on Saturday evening, as part of the third round of the Saudi Roshan League.

The only goal came from French star N'Golo Kante in the sixth minute of stoppage time in the second half, granting his team the full points after a match characterized by competitiveness and excitement until the last moments.

The match witnessed numerous missed opportunities, the most notable being two shots that hit the post, the first from Hossam Aouar in the 40th minute, and the second from Dibi Flores in the 90+1 minute, which added to the thrill of the encounter.

The match also saw several tactical changes from the coaches, as the Union coach introduced both Abdulrahman Al-Aboud and Saleh Al-Shehri in the second half, in search of energizing the team's attacking side.

On the other hand, the players of Al-Najma tried to keep up with the strength of the guests, and succeeded in creating some dangerous attempts, but luck and solid defense prevented them from equalizing in front of their fans.

With this victory, the Union raises its points total to 9, achieving a perfect score since the start of the season, while Al-Najma's points remain at zero, continuing its search for its first victory in the tournament.
