Real Madrid defender Eder Militao spoke in a press statement after the 2-0 victory over Espanyol in the fifth round of La Liga at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.

The Brazilian defender said: "How did you experience your wonderful goal? I don't know, it was special. Sometimes a shot misses, and sometimes it doesn't (smiles). Today I tried and succeeded."

He added: "Do you practice these things? Training is one thing, and matches are another. They are completely different. It seems easy, but it is not."

He emphasized: "We are improving with every match... but we know that every match is different. We take in what the coach tells us, and today's performance is important."

Regarding the secret of this season's perfect start: "It is the result of everyone's work. If there is a united group doing what the coach asks, as we are, it exists, and the results come."
